I can’t begin to emphasize the value of prevention. Preventing disease and illness is a part of our everyday life. Helping your children make healthy choices in nutrition and exercise is not always easy but the alternative of managing medications and treatments is much more difficult. If you don’t trust me then volunteer at your local hospital and you will know that prevention is the way to go!
So pick spend the extra minute to
-Cut an apple for your kids versus handing them a bag of chips
-Replace ice cream sundaes with a healthy yogurt + fruits + granola + honey (for the sweet tooth)
